PRTG Network Monitor comes with a powerful user administration, state-of-the-art web interface to configure devices and sensors, as well as to review monitoring results.

Web Interface

  • ...is highly interactive and uses Ajax and Flash to deliver a powerful and easy-to-use user experience.
  • ...is optimized for all common web browsers and even for the newest browser generation, such as IE 8, Firefox 3, Safari 3.1 and Google Chrome.
  • ...comes with an integrated interface that is optimized for Apple's iPhone and enables the user to quickly check the status of his servers and sensors on the road.
  • ...allows to view monitoring results in various contextual ways.
  • ...offers a sophisticated search function that is always available and makes it easy to find a specific sensor or device by its name, IP, tag or description within a matter of seconds.
  • ...shows object names (e.g. devices, sensor) as links (to go to the object’s web page directly) and with a context menu (right click) with numerous options (e.g. to pause a sensor, set its priority or review a sensor’s graphs).
  • ...with multiple dashboards for different predefined views.
  • "Clone Group" function duplicates a group with all sub-groups, devices and sensors.

User Administration

  • The default admin can set up as many users and user groups as required and manage their access rights to groups, devices, sensors, notifications, reports and many other objects on a group basis (full access, read only, no access).
  • Each user only “sees” the groups, devices, etc. he has access to.
