Are Maintenance, Support, and Updates included in the list prices?
Maintenance Scope:
All commercial Paessler licenses include 12 months Software Maintenance. During the time of this Software Maintenance
- you can log in to download the latest version for free at any time (this includes all bugfixes and all new versions of the product that you have purchased).
- you are entitled to receive priority email support via our support-ticket system.
- you can log in to re-request your license key for free at any time.
This 12 months Software Maintenance is renewable. For your convenience we will give you advance notification by email before your maintenance plan expires. Logged into your personal service center you can prolong your maintenance for 12, 24, or 36 months using a button that places the chosen renewal directly into your shopping cart under our online shop where you can then order it.
Please note that after expiration you will no longer be able to download the software or new versions from our website. In the case of support issues, priority is always given to customers with maintenance contracts.
Maintenance Renewal After Expiration
The maintenance plan for Paessler Software works continuously. A renewal of the maintenance always starts with the expiration of the former maintenance. So if you purchase a new maintenance e.g. 7 months after expiration of the former maintenance, only 5 months of active maintenance will be for your license.
If your maintenance expired more than a year ago you have to order at least 24 months of maintenance to receive valid maintenance for your license.
Maintenance Renewal for Older Versions:
As a registered user you can login and request download links for formerly purchased older versions in our customer service center. For some older versions you can purchase renewal of maintenance just as described above and then upgrade to the current version with your new maintenance.
Some older versions first require to be upgraded to a current version prior to being able to renew the maintenance. When purchasing this upgrade the price you paid for your license will be deducted from the current version's price. You will find a coupon code for this purpose at your customer service center.
